HSK socket welders join PE and PP pipe fittings by heating element socket fusion — a fast, reliable method for smaller-diameter pipe systems. The range covers OD 20–110 mm and includes hand-held units, a specialist plug welder for district heating applications, and the HSK-HWW 400 hand wedge welder for tarpaulins and foil membranes.
Compact, portable socket welders for PE and PP pipe fittings. Heat the socket and spigot simultaneously then push together for a permanent, leak-free joint.
Compact hand-held socket fusion welder for PE and PP pipe fittings from OD 20 to OD 63 mm. Includes the full set of socket welding inserts for 20, 25, 32, 40, 50 and 63 mm. Heats both fitting socket and pipe spigot simultaneously for fast, reliable joints. Electronically controlled to the correct working temperature.

Specialist tools for district heating pipe construction and tarpaulin / foil overlap welding.
Specialist plug welder for closing plugs used in district heating pipe construction. Used to seal the end caps of pre-insulated pipe systems, ensuring a weather-tight and pressure-tight closure. The plug welder heats and fuses the closing plug into the pipe end in a single operation.

Both the fitting socket and the pipe spigot are heated simultaneously on the welding inserts for the correct fusion time.
The heated components are removed from the inserts quickly and without twisting, maintaining the melt zone integrity.
Socket and spigot are pushed together firmly and held square for the specified cooling time. No twisting during joining.
The joint is held in position for the cooling time (material and diameter dependent). Do not stress until fully cooled.
Socket fusion welding follows DVS 2208 and manufacturer guidelines. Parameters vary by pipe diameter, material and ambient temperature. Contact ACS for application guidance.
