HSK supplies complete, integrated welding wire production plants for manufacturing 3 mm, 4 mm and 5 mm diameter plastic welding rod directly from granulate. The plant comprises matched components working together as a complete system: industrial extruder, water bath cooling, rod puller, strand straightener and automatic winding unit. Output up to 50 kg/h depending on configuration.
Industrial granulate extruder — screw diameter and L/D ratio matched to output requirement. Multiple heating zones, precise temperature and screw speed control.
Calibrated water bath cools and sizes the extruded strand to the correct diameter. Length and water temperature matched to line speed and material.
Motorised rod puller draws the cooled strand from the water bath at controlled speed, maintaining consistent diameter and ensuring proper crystallisation.
Traversing winder automatically coils finished welding rod onto spools or coils. Configurable for standard coil weights. Ensures tangle-free, professional output.
